The shopping plaza was designed by the architectural firm Fedetz & Martin, with the objective of capturing the heritage of the anthracite-mining region. Recent developments at the site include grand openings of the following locations:

The Party Store Outlet locally owned and operated, opened its doors on July 5, 2008. The Party Outlet is your one-stop special event store offering party supplies and balloons for every occasion. This site is packed with innovative items for birthdays, bridal and baby showers, wedding festivities, holiday gatherings, and anything in between.

Cellular Communications, the third operating business at the center, is a premium Verizon retailer. Their grand opening took place on July 14, 2008. Currently they offer sales of cell phones and accessories, internet connections through Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband, and are an official retailer for Dish Network.

GameStop, the world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer, opened for business on August 7, 2008. This location offers customers the most popular new software, hardware and game accessories for next generation video game systems and the PC. In addition, their used game trade program creates value for customers while recycling products no longer being played.

Dunkin Donuts began serving customers in October 2008 at the center. Menu items include coffee (hot or iced), tea, hot chocolate, lattes, donuts, sandwiches, bagels, and frozen drinks (coffee or fruit flavored). You can relax in the lobby which seats 40-45, or outdoors where seating will hold up to 16. Handicapped accessibility available throughout. At least ten local and national newspapers are sold at the center, and you can access the web with your laptop via their wireless internet connections.
